# Ringee

> Ringee is open calling infrastructure where human teams and AI voice agents place real outbound calls from the same stack. Humans call from the browser, mobile apps, Chrome extension, or Dialer SDK; AI voice agents place calls, hold live conversations, use tools, and return structured results. Both share Ringee numbers, workspace credit, call history, recordings, transcripts, outcomes, and integrations. Ringee is open source, self-hostable, pay-as-you-go, and has no per-seat pricing.

- Call leads worldwide from the browser, the Ringee Chrome extension, or the Ringee iOS and Android apps — no special hardware.
- AI voice agents place real outbound phone calls and hold the live conversation. Current production blueprints book appointments and deliver reminders or notifications.
- AI voice agent calls return a recording, transcript, outcome, summary, optional sentiment, and configured extraction fields to the same Ringee call history.
- The Chrome extension lets you call with one click without leaving the page you are on: it detects phone numbers on any site and dials them from your browser using the same dialer, contacts, and call history as the web app.
- Low-cost and pay-as-you-go: calling credits are billed separately, from $0.012/min, so you only pay for the minutes you use.
- Sales dialer: reps work a queue in progressive mode (the next lead is dialed as soon as the rep is free — often called a power dialer) or preview mode. Ringee does not do predictive or parallel dialing.
- Bring your own carrier (BYOC): an organization can connect its own SIP carrier or PBX as an extension, keep its numbers with the carrier, and call through it from the Ringee browser dialer.
- Pricing: Freelancer plan is $0/month; Organization plan is $20/month per organization.
- The Freelancer plan covers human calling and automation for one person; an active Organization workspace adds unlimited invited members, calling campaigns, and AI voice agents.
- The Organization plan includes unlimited users (no per-seat pricing).
- Cost example: a 12-person team pays $20/month flat instead of roughly $360/month on a typical ~$30/seat tool — about $4,080 saved per year.
- Agentic by design: ChatGPT, Claude, any MCP-compatible agent, the CLI, or your own automation can prepare human calling sessions or trigger configured AI voice agents that place and hold the calls.
- Real-time call transcription works with or without recording — you can transcribe a call even when you do not store the audio.
- Meetings: connect Google Calendar to schedule meetings from a call and keep them in sync automatically.
- Calls are connected through Telnyx. Authentication is handled by Clerk; payments by Stripe.
- Ringee is open source (MIT) and can be self-hosted.
- Ringee has not completed SOC 2 or ISO certifications and does not claim them.

Numbers bought from stock have no setup fee; a type the carrier sources on request can carry a one-time carrier setup fee, listed on its country page.
