Germany local phone number — $3/month
A local number carries the area code of a city, so the person you call sees a neighbour calling rather than an unknown foreign number. It is the number type outbound teams buy first, and the one caller ID rotation uses to match each lead.
Price verified September 16, 2026. Billed monthly, no setup fee.

What Germany requires
These are the regulator’s own requirements, as the carrier publishes them. Ringee collects each one in the dashboard and tracks the review.
- 1
Contact Information (Name, Business Name, Phone Number)
textualContact information for the business or end user, including: (1) the name of the contact person (full given name and family name), (2) the business name when the end user is a business (registered legal name where applicable; may be omitted or stated as 'N/A' for individual end users), and (3) one or more contact phone numbers where the business or end user can be reached. Contact person name and at least one phone number are mandatory; business name is required only when the end user is a business entity. Phone numbers should be in international E.164 format where possible.
Example: Contact: Maria García López | Business: Bloom & Petal Florist Ltd. | Phone: +34 612 345 678. For individual end users: Contact: John Smith | Business: N/A | Phone: +1 (555) 123-4567.
- 2
Proof of Address (Local), with Local Activity Evidence
documentProvide a document dated within the past 3 months that shows the supplied local service address in the country of the phone number. Accepted documents include bank statements, government letters, tax letters, invoices, bills, utility bills, or other official documents that verify the end user’s local address. The document must show the individual’s name for personal end users, or the business name for business end users. Bank statements are an acceptable form of address verification when they show the required name, local service address, issuer, and date within the past 3 months. Leases, rental agreements, or other documents with occupancy or contract terms are not accepted.
Example: A recent bank statement, government letter, tax notice, invoice, bill, or utility bill showing the individual’s name or business name and the supplied local service address, dated within the past 90 days.
- 3
Local Government-Issued ID/Passport Copy or Local Company Registration Certificate
documentEither (a) a clear color copy of a valid, unexpired government-issued ID or passport for the individual end user (issued by the same country as the phone number); OR (b) a copy of the company registration or incorporation certificate issued by the local government registry of that same country. The choice depends on whether the end user is an individual (option a) or a business (option b). Documents from countries other than the phone number's country are not acceptable. ID/passports must show full name, photograph, date of birth, document number, and expiration date and must not be expired. Business certificates must show legal name, registration number, registration date, and registered address.
Example: For an individual end user with a Spanish phone number: a color scan of both sides of a Spanish DNI. For a business end user with a Spanish phone number: a copy of the company's registration certificate from the Spanish Registro Mercantil.
- 4
German Local Service Number Registration Form (BNetzA)
documentA German Registration Form confirming the customer's local relationship to the area code of the allocated Local Service Numbers, as required by the German Federal Network Agency (Bundesnetzagentur, BNetzA). The form must establish a documented connection between the customer's physical presence and the geographic area code being requested. The current template and detailed requirements are documented at https://support.telnyx.com/en/articles/1311450-germany-did-requirements. The completed form must be signed by the authorized representative.
Example: A completed and signed German Registration Form per the BNetzA template provided in the Telnyx Germany DID requirements support article, demonstrating the customer's local relationship, such as a physical office, employees, or service activity, to the German city or region whose area code is being purchased.
- 5
Address Matching the DID Area Code (Geographic Match)
addressA physical address that matches the geographic area covered by the phone number's area code. The address must include street name and number, postal/ZIP code, city, and country, and the city/region of the address must fall within the geographic area assigned to the DID's area code. Addresses outside the area code's geographic region are not acceptable for this requirement; a different (broader, national-level) address requirement must be selected if the customer cannot provide a matching local address.
Example: 311 W Superior St, Chicago, IL 60654 (matches Chicago area code 312). For a +44 20 (Greater London) DID: an address within Greater London such as '60 Holborn Viaduct, London EC1A 2FD'. The address must lie within the area code's geographic boundaries.
- 6
Local Company Registration Number (Business Use Only)
textualProvide the official company registration number issued in the same country as the phone number being purchased. This is required only for business-use orders; personal or non-business applicants may enter None or N/A. For Germany, provide the Handelsregisternummer, consisting of HRA or HRB, an optional court or registry location, and a numeric registration sequence. HRA generally applies to registered sole proprietorships and partnerships, while HRB applies to corporations such as GmbH, UG, and AG.
Example: Examples: For a personal-use order, enter None or N/A. For a German business-use order, acceptable formats include HRB 123456, HRA 12345, Berlin HRB 123456, Charlottenburg HRB 123456, or Amtsgericht München HRB 123456.
