Ireland · Local number
Ireland local phone number — $1/month
A local number carries the area code of a city, so the person you call sees a neighbour calling rather than an unknown foreign number. It is the number type outbound teams buy first, and the one caller ID rotation uses to match each lead.
Price verified September 16, 2026. Billed monthly, no setup fee.

What Ireland requires
These are the regulator’s own requirements, as the carrier publishes them. Ringee collects each one in the dashboard and tracks the review.
- 1
End User Name (Business Legal Name or Individual Full Name)
textualThe full legal name of the phone number's end user. For BUSINESSES: the full registered legal company name as it appears on the company's official registration documents (including any legal suffix such as Inc., Ltd., GmbH, S.A., S.r.l.). For INDIVIDUALS: the end user's full given name(s) and family name as they appear on their government-issued ID. Maximum 100 characters, minimum 1 character. Generic placeholders such as 'N/A', 'TBD', or trade-only names without legal status are not acceptable.
Example: Business: 'Telnyx LLC' or 'Acme Florist Limited' (full legal name with suffix). Individual: 'Maria García López' or 'John Adam Smith' (full given and family names matching ID). The submitted name must match supporting documentation.
- 2
Service Usage Description
textualA free-text description of how the phone number will be used. The description must be specific enough to identify the calling activity (e.g., inbound customer support, outbound sales, two-factor authentication, IVR, conferencing, voice broadcasting). Generic responses such as 'business use', 'voice service', or 'phone calls' are not acceptable; a specific activity must be named.
Example: This number will be used as an outbound dialer for an appointment-reminder service serving dental clinics in Madrid. Or: This number will receive inbound technical support calls for a SaaS product. Vague descriptions such as 'voice usage' are not acceptable.
- 3
End User Type (Individual or Company)
textualSpecify whether the end user of the phone number is an individual (a natural person) or a company (a legal entity or registered business). Select "individual" or "company".
Example: company
- 4
Local Government-Issued ID/Passport Copy or Local Company Registration Certificate
documentEither (a) a clear color copy of a valid, unexpired government-issued ID or passport for the individual end user (issued by the same country as the phone number); OR (b) a copy of the company registration or incorporation certificate issued by the local government registry of that same country. The choice depends on whether the end user is an individual (option a) or a business (option b). Documents from countries other than the phone number's country are not acceptable. ID/passports must show full name, photograph, date of birth, document number, and expiration date and must not be expired. Business certificates must show legal name, registration number, registration date, and registered address.
Example: For an individual end user with a Spanish phone number: a color scan of both sides of a Spanish DNI. For a business end user with a Spanish phone number: a copy of the company's registration certificate from the Spanish Registro Mercantil.
- 5
Address Matching the DID Area Code (Geographic Match)
addressA physical address that matches the geographic area covered by the phone number's area code. The address must include street name and number, postal/ZIP code, city, and country, and the city/region of the address must fall within the geographic area assigned to the DID's area code. Addresses outside the area code's geographic region are not acceptable for this requirement; a different (broader, national-level) address requirement must be selected if the customer cannot provide a matching local address.
Example: 311 W Superior St, Chicago, IL 60654 (matches Chicago area code 312). For a +44 20 (Greater London) DID: an address within Greater London such as '60 Holborn Viaduct, London EC1A 2FD'. The address must lie within the area code's geographic boundaries.
- 6
Proof of Address (Recent Bill or Invoice)
documentA document evidencing the customer's physical address, issued within the past 3 months. Acceptable documents include utility bills (electricity, water, gas, internet, landline telephone), invoices from the current telecommunications provider, or insurance policy documents. The document must clearly show (1) the full name of the individual or registered business name (matching the order), (2) the complete physical address (street, postal code, city, country), and (3) the document issue date. Mobile phone bills, screenshots, handwritten documents, and bills older than 3 months are not acceptable.
Example: A PDF of the latest invoice from the customer's current phone provider, addressed to the end user at their registered address, with an issue date within the past 90 days; or an electricity utility bill with the same.
- 7
Contact Email Address of End Client
textualA valid email address for the end client (the natural person or business that will use the phone number), used for compliance follow-up. The submitted value must be a syntactically valid email address (max 150 characters) and should reach the end client directly. Generic or shared role-based addresses (e.g., info@, contact@) are acceptable but a personal address tied to the named end client is preferred.
Example: maria.garcia@bloomandpetal.com or contact@acme-coffee.de. The address must be syntactically valid (matching the standard email format) and should be a working address.
