Ireland mobile phone number — $40/month

A mobile number sits in the country’s mobile range, which in many markets is the only kind of number people answer — and, where the carrier enables it, the kind that can send and receive SMS.

Available on request. The carrier holds none of these in stock: Ringee places the order for you, and the carrier confirms availability and the final price before anything is charged.

Price verified September 16, 2026 against the carrier's price list. Billed monthly, after a $40 one-time setup fee.

What Ireland requires

These are the regulator’s own requirements, as the carrier publishes them. Ringee collects each one in the dashboard and tracks the review.

  1. 1

Proof of Address (National), Recent Utility Bill or Invoice

    document

A document evidencing the customer's physical address within the same country as the phone number being purchased, dated within the past 3 months. Acceptable documents include utility bills (electricity, water, gas, internet, landline telephone), bank statements, tax notices, or government-issued correspondence. The document must clearly show (1) the full name of the individual or registered business name, (2) the complete physical address (street, postal code, city, country), and (3) the document issue date. The document must be submitted as a PDF or clear color scan. Screenshots, handwritten documents, mobile phone bills (when not the proof of residence), and bills older than 3 months are not acceptable.

Example: A PDF of an Iberdrola electricity bill dated within the last 90 days, addressed to the customer at a Spanish residential address, for a Spain phone number order. The bill must show the customer's name, full service address, and the issuer's logo and billing date.

  2. 2

    Address (National)

    address

A valid, real-world physical address located in the same country as the phone number being purchased. The address must include street name and number, postal or ZIP code, city, region or province (where applicable), and country. The address does not need to match the specific city or area code of the number; any address within the national borders is acceptable. P.O. boxes, virtual office addresses, mailbox-only services, and addresses outside the country of the phone number are not acceptable. The address should match the address shown on supporting identity or business registration documents where those are also required.

Example: For a Spanish phone number: Calle de Alcalá 42, 28014 Madrid, Spain. For a German phone number: Friedrichstraße 123, 10117 Berlin, Germany. The address must be a deliverable physical location, not a P.O. box or virtual mailbox.

  3. 3

Contact Information (Name, Business Name, Phone Number)

    textual

Contact information for the business or end user, including: (1) the name of the contact person (full given name and family name), (2) the business name when the end user is a business (registered legal name where applicable; may be omitted or stated as 'N/A' for individual end users), and (3) one or more contact phone numbers where the business or end user can be reached. Contact person name and at least one phone number are mandatory; business name is required only when the end user is a business entity. Phone numbers should be in international E.164 format where possible.

Example: Contact: Maria García López | Business: Bloom & Petal Florist Ltd. | Phone: +34 612 345 678. For individual end users: Contact: John Smith | Business: N/A | Phone: +1 (555) 123-4567.

  4. 4

    Service Usage Description

    textual

A free-text description of how the phone number will be used. The description must be specific enough to identify the calling activity (e.g., inbound customer support, outbound sales, two-factor authentication, IVR, conferencing, voice broadcasting). Generic responses such as 'business use', 'voice service', or 'phone calls' are not acceptable; a specific activity must be named.

Example: This number will be used as an outbound dialer for an appointment-reminder service serving dental clinics in Madrid. Or: This number will receive inbound technical support calls for a SaaS product. Vague descriptions such as 'voice usage' are not acceptable.

  5. 5

Contact Email Address of End Client

    textual

A valid email address for the end client (the natural person or business that will use the phone number), used for compliance follow-up. The submitted value must be a syntactically valid email address (max 150 characters) and should reach the end client directly. Generic or shared role-based addresses (e.g., info@, contact@) are acceptable but a personal address tied to the named end client is preferred.

Example: maria.garcia@bloomandpetal.com or contact@acme-coffee.de. The address must be syntactically valid (matching the standard email format) and should be a working address.

  6. 6

    Local Company Registration Certificate

    document

A copy of the company registration or incorporation certificate issued by the government registry of the same country as the phone number being purchased. The document must show the registered legal company name (matching the order), the unique company registration or incorporation number, the date of registration, the registered business address, and the issuing authority. Submitted as a clear color scan or original PDF in the local language or English, dated within the past 3 months unless a different timeframe applies at the country level.

Example: For a Spanish phone number: a Certificado de Inscripción from the Spanish Registro Mercantil. For an Italian phone number: a Visura Camerale from the Italian Camera di Commercio. The document should show the legal company name, registration number, registration date, and registered office address.

Frequently asked questions

How much is a mobile number in Ireland?

$40 per month, plus a $40 one-time setup fee the carrier charges to source the number. That is the carrier's published price for this type in Ireland; because it is not held in inventory, the carrier confirms the number and the final price before anything is charged. There is no minimum term — the subscription is monthly and you can cancel it whenever you want.

What documents are required for a Ireland mobile number?

6 requirements: Proof of Address (National), Recent Utility Bill or Invoice; Address (National); Contact Information (Name, Business Name, Phone Number); Service Usage Description; Contact Email Address of End Client; Local Company Registration Certificate. Ringee collects them in the dashboard, submits them to the carrier, and tracks the regulator's review until the number activates.

What can a Ireland mobile number do?

Voice calls in and out, which is what the carrier's price for this type covers. Anything beyond voice — SMS, MMS, fax — depends on the range the carrier sources the number from, so it is confirmed on the order rather than promised here.

How much does calling Ireland cost with this number?

Outbound calls to Ireland start at $0.0240 per minute and are charged from your workspace credit, separately from your plan. The number's monthly price covers the line itself, not the minutes.

Can an AI voice agent call from this number?

Yes. The same number can be used by people and by AI voice agents. An agent conversation costs $0.0540 per minute plus the call itself, and needs an Organization workspace at $20/month with unlimited users.

How long does activation take?

Longer than a number in stock. The carrier has to source the number for the advance order before it can be activated, and the regulator’s review of your documents runs on top of that — we tell you what the carrier commits to when the order is placed, rather than promise a date here.
